Title: Netezza Developer
Location: Tampa FL
Duration: Long term project

Netezza Resource -Role & Responsibilities
1. A minimum of 7 years 'experience with database technologies and minimum of 2 years hands on experience with data warehouse appliance products like Netezza (TwinFin/Striper or Mako series) with good experience in Finance domain.
2. Experience with developing scripts for Netezza maintenance and operational jobs.
3. Overall understanding of end to end data warehouse architecture, from tools to middleware to data quality. Ability to quickly trouble shoot customer problems and offer solutions
4. Firm understanding of Database/Warehouse concepts to work on Performance tuning & troubleshooting. Able to handle day to day activities/issues like access, server performance in database/warehouse areas.
5. Customer focused with good communication & presentation skills and blend into a global support organization
6. Good understanding in Installation Planning/Configuration/Migration of Netezza appliances .
7. Coordinate with other groups/units to perform all capacity planning activities in facility.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields with 4-8 years' experience
· Prior programming experience with SQL, shell scripting or other scripting tools
· Prior experience with MPP EDW products and support of distributed architectures
· Good Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
· Good analytical and communication skills is a must
