Position: Data Analyst (With SQL AND Data Science)

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities –

•        Interact with the business users on a daily basis

•        Understand business requirements

•        Perform data analysis and build ad-hoc reports to answer business questions and enable users in decision making process

•        Derive insights from data and present them to the business users

•        Support analytics/insights requests within agreed timelines, with 100% accuracy and quality actionable insights

 

Requirements -

•        Solid experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis areas

•        Client interactions and transforming the business requirements to technical requirements.

•        Conversant in writing SQL to extract dataset from the database based on the business questions

•        Expertise in Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

•        Automation using VBA or other tools is a plus

•        Knowledge of Data science and R is a Plus.

•        Comfortable using SQL or similar database tools for data mining and manipulation

•        Excellent communication skills.

•        Knowledge of Hospitality domain is a plus.

 

Qualifications -

•        8+ years of work experience.

•        Graduate in any discipline

•        Data Scientist would be preferred since this role could expand to data science
