    Hi,

Annual Championship will be held at Brits Golf Club on Sunday 12th Dec 2010
starting at 07h30. 5X4 balls. R120 green fees if we 20 or more and R160 if
we are less than 20. Cart is R200 and there are caddies/sporters. For the
braai after golf you have to bring R25, or R50 if you are with a caddie.
Everyone will have to bring a prize no matter how small for everyone to get
a prize. We will put all prizes in one basket and winners will be announced
from No1 who will choose a prize and so on. If a heavyweight brings a bar
fridge and lightweight brings 3 golf balls, then no1 will get bar fridge and
no 20 will get golf balls, but lets try to bring good prizes. Please reply
    if you are playing.

    Soso Mokhoka

    Vice Captain

    Hi Soso,

You are day dreaming if you think someone will buy a bar fridge whilst
someone will bring 3 pinnacle balls (a good price indeed) but not comparable
to a bar fridge. A good suggestion will be that we decide on something that
most of us if not all wil appreciate e.g. 3 sleeeves of titlest balls,
Johnny Walker whisky, R50 voucher from any shop e.g. woolworths, pick&pay,
Proshop or R50 from every participant. Depending on what we chose this units
will be divided amongst the first 3 players or 4 depending what we decide.
Let say for instance we choose that everybody bring a bottle of 12 year
whisky limited to Johnny Walker, Glenfiddich, Glenlivet and similar quality
and there are 20 players, player who comes 1st will take 10 of the bottles,
player number two will take 5 bottles and player number three 2 and we drink
the remaining 3. We can workout the numbers and the same can be applied to
sleeves of golf balls or R 50 rands or vouchers. In this way nobody feels
exploited for having brought a more expensive price.

    Regards,
    Tubs

Hahaha so funny tubs very funny, come to me I will sort you out with a prize, nothing wrong if I want to buy a fridge and you buy whatever, I do not think we should prescribe because we limit ourselves, some people got bonuses and are in festive spirit so let us accept all prizes tendered.

Deiza, you are also dreaming. Since when have Renaissance people been that generous? We need money to buy quality tshirts and would recommend those with money for fridges donate it to that course. We will as per Dr. Bev will bring a 12 bottle of whisky and a present. Surely from one fridge we can have one guy volunteering to buying decent prizes for players who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

    Regards,
    Tubs

    Esteemed Golfers.
Those who find themselves with nothing much to do before the Mzankomo do in the evening are welcome to join us for a round of Golf at Benoni lake, Tee off from 12:00. Green fees, R120. The more the merrier.

    Keep well.

    Bev.
On the club champs, each participant must bring a bottle of a 12yrs old or equivalent, plus a prise as suggested earlier. The committee can apply their minds as to how to dispose of the loot.
