Job Description:
Atrilogy Solutions Group is currently hiring for a Senior Software Development Engineer in the Greater Atlanta area. You will be joining a growing team of software engineers building web, mobile and middle-tier interfaces for a cutting edge cloud platform, in a leading Healthcare company developing state of the art products and services with a strong focus on the end user experience. The team is focused on advanced Big Data analytical systems utilizing the latest processing engines, cloud platform web and mobile user interfaces, and industry leading healthcare quality measurement software products. The team environment is mostly senior talent, close-knit, progressive and Agile/Scrum. You will be utilizing Hadoop and MPP database related technologies such as Hive, M/R, Spark, Greenplum and others to design and implement solutions for bulk and streaming 'real time' analytics.
This is a critical, high visibility role, and a great opportunity to make a huge impact and gain recognition.
This opportunity is open to Contract, Contract to Hire or Direct Hire.
Responsibilities:
Mentor and serve as an advocate for best practices;
Design, develop and maintain solutions for Terabyte scale data analytics;
Design, develop and maintain services and interfaces to allow for cross product communication, data analytics, reporting, and management;
Involved with full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, implementation, and testing; and
Work cooperatively in an Agile team structure to deliver value to our clients, internal and external.
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science or related field of study;
Experience developing Hadoop based applications is critical;
Experience creating and maintaining web services;
Scala experience a plus;
Spark experience a must;
Experience in C# and Windows based development a plus;
Experience developing for database technologies such as MSSQL or Postgres; and
Experience writing parallelized data driven algorithms.
