Position: SharePoint/SSRS Report Developer
Duration:6 month Contract
Location: Chicago, IL( Need Local Or able to attend F2F )
· Client is looking for a Developer with extensive experience in SharePoint, someone who can develop reports through Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes and relational databases and integrate them with SharePoint
· Candidate must take and pass BrainBench MS SQL Server 2008 Programming AND .NET Framework 3.5 Fundamentals
Job description:
One of our direct clients is looking for a SharePoint / SSRS Report Developer. This person will work closely with our business stakeholders and other software and IT team members to develop and enhance reporting capabilities and solutions using Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), and Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012
Specific duties include:
As a SharePoint / SSRS Report Developer will work as a part of the Software organization with developers, business users, DBAs, and IT team members on the following:
· Develop reports through Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes and relational databases and integrate them with SharePoint
· Develop solutions using SSRS/SSIS/ETL technologies
· Prepare and review requirements, functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation.
· Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a must. Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
· Extensive experience with SharePoint, SQL and MS SQL Server 2008/2012 SSIS/ETL, or in SSRS report design and implementation
· Strong skills in SQL query development
· Should have knowledge of Business Data Connectivity
· Experience with SharePoint Solution development
· Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, oral and written communication skills
· Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment
· Experience with ad-hoc reporting design and tools
Additional skills and experience we'd like to see:
· Knowledge of ASP.NET application development
· Experience with in JavaScript & SharePoint 2010 Client Object Model
· Experience developing software in an Agile development environment
· Experience with dashboards, guided analytics, or self-defined presentation of data
· Demonstrated history of staying current in field of expertiseThanks & Regards,
