Role: Technical Business Systems Analyst( With e-Commerce Website EXP)
Location Chicago IL
Duration: Long Term
The Technical Business Systems Analyst is the link between the business and the software dev team and is responsible for building a backlog, assisting the agile team and becoming a SME for the features and systems they support. This position is ideal for someone who is skilled and passionate about web development, is interested in building a great dev culture on their team, and who wants to create solutions that are going to help our customers 'Get The Job Done'. Our teams will evolve as business demands shift, so we are looking for individuals that are able to adapt, learn quickly, can be versatile, and are willing to take on challenging work as we continue to find new and creative ways to solve issues for our customers.
Your previous positions need to show where you have worked on large e-Commerce Websites preferably where the project included either:
- Search Related work and helping to enhance the website for FIND AND SELECT
- Experience doing tight performance and reliability conversions
Required Experience (Musts)
· 3-5 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
· 1-3 years experience working on a team that operates a large scale website using Agile
· Experience writing or grooming Story and Acceptance Criteria
· Experience facilitating story estimation sessions
· Systems design, testing and implementation
Preferred Experience (Pluses)
· Previous software development or platform configuration experience
· Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
· Functional experience in e-Commerce
· Experience with Search, Merchandising and Analytics
· Experience working on a site that utilizes a CDN
· Experience working in a environment that uses continuous integration
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Musts)
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
· Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
· Ability to convey technical information in an accessible and understandable manner
· Possess working knowledge of SCRUM and other agile software development methodologies
· Analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Pluses)
· Understands core internet concepts and the HTTP protocol
· Knows web performance concepts and how to make websites fast
· Knowledge of DevOps practices
· Knowledge of Hybris, SOLR, Akamai, HTML5, JavaScript, Java
· Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, mPulse
· Experience with JIRA and Confluence
