Job Description:
· Senior Software Engineer- Java

· This position will be in small business lending platform developing the next generation software for serving small business customers.
As a team, engineers would be responsible for:
· Driving project/service delivery.
· Performing as technical lead on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components.
· Collaborating with other platforms tech leads to ensure integrated end-to-end design
· Documenting design decisions and ensuring adherences
· Mentoring junior developers
· Supporting QA during testing, and oversight during implementation into production.
· Conducting design & code reviews
· Supporting SM in technical tasks & delivery schedule development
· Reviewing system test scenarios & test cases.
· Monitoring operating efficiency of existing application systems.
· Write clean and concise code that is well-tested and easy to maintain
· Clearly communicate technical information to both developers and business stakeholders
· Continuously learn and expand our knowledge of new tools and technologies
Engineers would be responsible for:
· Developing applications using enterprise java technology stack and object oriented methodologies
· Java development [SE and EE], Spring, REST Service development
· Build tools such as Maven integrated repositories like Nexus and version control tools like GitHub and SVN
· Continuous integration and deployment tools such as Hudson, Jenkins, uDeploy and Chef
· Manage the design, coding, testing, implementation, and debugging of programs
· Perform application testing and validation, programming, and documentation
· Mentor junior developers
· Engage directly with product owners and solve complex business problems for large-scale business banking applications
· Be an active part of a small team of developers to deliver UI, service layer, database changes, and automated unit tests
· Engage in meeting team's deliverables for quality, consistency, and scheduling
· Leverage technical skills to develop UI, service layer, database changes and automated unit tests
· Collaborate with peers to develop and adhere to best practices for developing applications
· Must be detail-oriented, self-organized, and capable of simultaneously tracking multiple issues of varying complexity
Basic Qualifications:
· At least a High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification, or military experience
· At least 5 years' experience in software development ?
· At least 3 years' experience in Java development
· At least 5a years of experience with Enterprise application design and construction with an emphasis on web architectures
· At least 5 years of experience with RESTful web services
· At least 2+ years of virtualization and container technology
· At least 2+ years of cloud native applications development
· At least 2+ years working in Database technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
· At least 1+ years working in angularJS or other Java script frameworks
