Job Description:
Senior QA Engineer to support major releases of integrated web based and network based VoIP applications from end to end perspective during the entire QA Lifecycle. The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for supporting the project team. Responsibilities include representing QA status through daily dashboards and project metrics, conducting requirements reviews and analysis, providing QA test effort estimation, defining QA test resource allocation, Test Plan creation, Test Schedule design and supporting Business User Acceptance Tests.
Responsibilities:
· Act as a key contributor in reviewing business and technical requirements to develop Test Strategy and Test Plans - hands on testing will be required
· Define and assign Test Execution with complete traceability
· Troubleshoot, triage and communicate test issues on a daily basis
· Coordinate and manage daily defect review meetings
· Manage, compile and report daily test status metrics
· Facilitate the completion of testing activities on time and within defined goals
· Perform Manual and Automated Testing
Requirements:
• Strong technical skills and excellent communication techniques
• 6+ years of Quality Assurance experience
• SDLC experience to delivery using iterative development methodologies
• B.S. Computer Science or technical certification and/or experience
• Previous Website / Billing / Platform Testing / Back End Systems Testing experience
• Understanding PHP, JAVA, XML, or other programming languages
• Understanding of IP and VoIP networking, protocols such as HTTP/HTML and SIP, firewalls, routers, Apache, Weblogic, etc.
• Experience with writing SQL queries
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux environments
• Experience with HP Quality Center
• Telecommunications experience a plus
• QTP Automation experience a required
• Strong SQL skills required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to objectively define challenges and risk and escalate Issues
• High technical competence and proven track record for high quality delivery.
• Perform hands-on testing
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to prioritize work based on deadlines provided.
