Position: Embedded System Engineer QNX  

Location: Novi MI

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Description:

 

Role and Responsibility

•             SW Requirements analysis from IVI SW Architecture point of view

•             SW Architecture , Design and Implementation QNX Native Services (C++), PPS, Resource managers

•             Intergroup Communications, Problems solving , team leads

•             Analyzing significant amount of code for potential refactoring

•             New Features development efforts estimations and schedules

•             Analysis of technology trends

•             Analysis of systems performance and vary KPIs

•             Systems resources utilization optimizations

•            

Demonstrated Experience

•             C / C++  and Java

•             OOD / OOP

•             Multithreading type of Services and it's specifics

•             Knowledge of QNX OS specific ate vs. Linux

•             Automotive overall Experience in IVIs SW

•             Familiar with QNX Tool Chains, Debugging Technology, Crases analysis etc

•             Familiar with QNX specific IPCs  

•             Familiar with DDK and drivers development framework

•             Familiar with conception of power management

•             Overall knowledge of CAN

•             Knowledge of HAL is a plus

•             Knowledge one of Automotive functional Domain will be a plus (Navigation, VR, Tuner etc)

•             Knowledge of Version Control systems

•             Good communications skills

•             Ability to analyze root causes
