Position: Embedded Engineer( With Bluetooth Driver Exp)
Location: Richardson, Texas
Duration: Long Term
To give you a gist:
Bluetooth/Connectivity domain delivers software for features which utilize underlying technologies such as bluetooth, embedded cellular modem, WiFi, phone projection - mirrorlink, iOS in the car, miracast etc. It provides the software for connectivity to the cloud and different apps on the headunit. The vertical integration model has not only the different drivers and the stacks but also the user interface within the scope of the domain.
They need really strong candidates with Bluetooth Driver experience.
- Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- RTOS experience for development on Infotainment, Audio or Connectivity products.
- Experience in developing Bluetooth or WiFi features.
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of software development tools (debugger's, emulators, compilers, etc).
- Ability to read schematics and debug analog and digital hardware.
- Working knowledge of embedded operating systems.
- Analyze customer and internal requirements and specifications and translates these into software designs.
- Analyze existing embedded software to add features, make modifications, fix bus, and/or port to different platforms..
- Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- RTOS experience for development on Infotainment, Audio or Connectivity products.
- Experience in developing Bluetooth or WiFi features.
- Familiarity with user interface technologies such as Action Script, HTML 5, or QT.
- Strong attention to detail.
